Works great to eliminate inflammationGot turmeric for its anti-inflammatory properties. It works wonders for my knee, which needs surgery. I have had swelling and constant pain in my knee for over a year now, and at times it was too painful to walk. It would wake me up at night because of the pain. I started take no turmeric daily, and after a week of taking about 1000 mg/day, I have had my pain almost completely disappear! My orthopedic surgeon said the turmeric is keeping the swelling down, so that is why I am no longer n pain or unable to function close to normal.... Even though my knee still needs corrective su very. I still feel the problem when I go up & down stairs, and I can't really kneel, but at least I am NOT is pain and can sleep, sit, stand & walk comfortably! This is a great supplement. Would (and have ) recommend to anybody dealing with inflammation and pain! 4Definitely reduces aches and pains after just a day or two!With chronic pain from a variety of reasons (arthritis being one; MS and former injuries as well) inflammation is my enemy. I have popped ADVIL every four hours for too many years until starting TURMERIC CURCUMIN. It's not magic BUT it definitely works. First two days I religiously took it as directed (1 cap three times a day) and by day two I realized that I had NOT EVEN REACHED FOR THE ADVIL that day! Without thinking about it, my aches were 50% less while my activity level remained same.Some days I get lazy and "forget"... the request for this review has reminded me to KEEP TAKING IT 3X day because it really DOES work.Thanks for the opportunity to share this with anyone who might find some relief from this supplement. 4Fixed all my pains, skin sensitivities, and now ...Fixed all my pains, skin sensitivities, and now my dog walks again, too!! The online claims really work with standardized turmeric. 5misleading labeling, weak product..Will update review in two weeks. I received this product a few days ago, and just took my first capsule today. I was previously taking another Curcumin supplement that was out of stock, so I bought this. With the other supplement my back pain was non existent. While I have only taken one dose of this, I do feel some achiness, but not as much pain as without any Curcumin at all (maybe).What I find interesting is that this pill has a strong smell and taste of turmeric, while the previous pill had no taste or smell. The other brand was labeled as 1425mg of 95% standardized curcumin per 2 pills, while this label I find difficult to understand, but I believe now looking closer is 70% to 80% of the 750mg, so minimum of 525mg of 95% standardized curcumin?? maybe?? Definitely less than the other pill I was taking, which is evident by the taste and smell of the turmeric "filler" in this one, but I'm not sure the exact quantity as the label is not clear. I will continue to take this for another week or two and update my review then.Ok, it's been about two weeks, maybe closer to three. I'm up to 6 pills a day, 3 in the morning and 3 at night, and I am feeling no relief from my back pain whatsoever. I contacted the company early on to ask them about the curcumin extract content and was given a vague answer that they could not disclose their recipe because of competitors... ok, but everyone else does disclose their ingredients and strengths, so... I was then later contacted by the company as a follow up to my purchase to make sure everything was satisfactory, to which I responded that I wasn't happy with the product and wished to receive a refund under their satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked policy. Their response was that I should keep taking the pills, it needs to build up in my system. Considering I was previously on another curcumin supplement, I don't think I need anything to build up in my system. I also think taking initially 4 daily would be enough to build up pretty quickly. After their email I started taking 6 daily, with still no pain relief. I will continue taking for one more week, and will contact them again if I still wish to receive a refund. I will update again to note customer service if a refund is requested (again), and/or update my review if after 3 to 4 weeks of taking 4 to 6 pills daily I finally start feeling relief. 3It's helping my foot Tingling and Joint PainI was having a lot of trouble with tingling in my right foot. I read in the newspaper about Turmeric Curcumin helping with Neuropathy pain and that it helps prevent PreDiabetes. I have taken one capsule a day for a week and the tingling in my foot is almost gone. I mentioned it to my Podiatrist and he said he puts it in his smoothie daily, and has for years, to help with arthritis joint pain, but he uses the loose form and says it stains a lot so he likes the idea of the capsules. One person on that website also said it helps address pancreatic cancer, though I cannot comment on that. 5Wonder spice!This has been a great supplement for me. I have been taking it for some time and am pleased with the results. Turmeric is all over the health news and rightfully so. I would recommend this supplement to anyone who is interested in the benefits of turmeric. My recommendation would be to take it with a fat containing meal to increase absorption. Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric that gives the most benefits, this product is standardized to 95% curcumin and with the added bioperine it means the best possibility of absorption. 5One StarI did not have any improvement after taking this product........... 1Great brand, does just what I need it to do. This stuff is awesome!Oh my, where do I start raving about the effects of Tumeric Curcumin with Bioperine. I started using it months ago when I was told I was going to have to have another back surgery because of another ruptured disk and simply did not want to go through that again. I was on a prescription anti-inflammatory and being a nurse, I know that long term use of those drugs can do a number on kidneys and heart, so I wanted badly to get off of them, but had no idea what to use to help me get through the day. Well, I started reading about Tumeric Curcumin and got a bottle. Within only a few days, I was able to get off my RX drug, and use only Tumeric Curcumin and felt great, pain was much less than even with the anti-inflammatories. Then I discovered this brand, 750 mg. as opposed to my 500 mg., at a better price. Well, needless to say, I love this brand and the higher mg. strength and so does my back. I have almost no pain now and I take only two a day, one in the a.m., one in the p.m. I am so enthusiastic that I have several friends ordering it. I recently was reading more on it, and found that it is being studied in early onset dementia and that it boosts the immune system as well. I think I will be ordering this brand for a long time. It does the job, is higher strength, and cheaper. What more could I ask for? 5Fixed my self-diagnosed sciaticaI started exercising fervently a few months ago due to joining ClassPass. My body aches in different ways almost daily now because I do a different type of workout almost every day. Little did I know that all this extra exercise could cause my body to revolt in brand new ways that I had never experienced despite a very active life since I first started walking.One night it hit me, a pain so oddly excruciating and distracting that I couldn't fall asleep. I just laid in bed trying to shake the new feeling in my left leg, left hip and general left side of my body. It felt kind of like a pinched nerve or a tweaked muscle. I figured I did something weird that day and it would pass by the time I woke up. It took me an hour and a lot of hip flexor and leg stretching to finally feel comfortable enough to fall asleep. I didn't work out at all the following day as I felt my body was asking for some rest and I always try to listen to my body.I felt fine the entire next day.When the pain came back again the next night I knew something was wrong. I did what any sane person would do and looked through Google. It wasn't a heart related issue. It wasn't arthritis. It wasn't a pulled muscle or twisted joint. The only logical thing was something I didn't know much about. Sciatica pain. I had heard the word before but didn't know what caused it or what would help it.I spent a good hour that night, laying in bed in pain, while trying to research sciatica since I was becoming more and more convinced this was the problem. I read all about what causes it. Increased or excessive exercise is one thing that can cause it. Sitting for extended periods of time can also cause it. Lightbulb moment! I exercise a lot. I recently started exercising more intensely. And on top of that, my job has me sitting in vehicles or at a desk for 9-10 hours a day. Everything was pointing to this annoy sciatic nerve issue. I take a lot of supplements but using a regular old cooking spice as a medical remedy seemed about as promising as the essential oil voodoo magic people rave about. I finally fell asleep from pure eye strain after all that research.Then I did even more research the next morning before purchasing these pills. My first thought was to just start using turmeric in more of the foods I cooked. But that meant cooking foods that would taste good with turmeric which meant I would have to change my diet too much. I then considered drinking the turmeric as a tea or mixed with lemonade. But all my research suggested that black pepper would need to be added to make the turmeric effective. So I decided to add another supplement to my routine in the form of turmeric pills.I read a bunch of reviews on Amazon for different brands and potencies. I chose this one because it includes the active ingredient of black pepper and another additive that they say helps even more with absorption. I ordered my bottle and it arrived in just 24 hours. I took the full dose midday the day I received it. I went to bed that night without thinking about it. I realized the next morning that I had fallen asleep without struggling with the crawling, stinging pain feeling that I had experienced the previous three nights. It may have been a coincidence but I now take two pills daily and the only time I've had that pain in my legs since was when I was on vacation for three days and forgot to pack my supplements. I didn't feel the pain until the third day but I was convinced the lack of turmeric was the reason. I don't like the idea of being psychologically or physically dependant on a supplement, even if it is a spice, but until I stop exercising as much I am going to keep taking these pills just in case. 5This particular brand has been really good. Meets all the specs I look for (made ...Turmeric is a must add to any supplement program due to its powerful anti-inflammatory affect which seems to impact us all in so many different ways. I have really felt the difference, you will notice aches that have been with you for years suddenly reduce or improve (at least I did). This particular brand has been really good. Meets all the specs I look for (made in America, Non GMO, GMP, Veggie capsules, standardized to 95% Curcuminoids, added BioPerine for absorption and excellent dosage 750 mg). There are a lot of good brands out there and I am seriously not a sales person, lol. Just an average joe who does his homework and knows what I want in a Turmeric supplement. Look for something that suits you, but like i said, totally recommend turmeric and this is a great brand if your interested in this particular one. So far it has been great. 5
