So delicious I converted to the Vahdam!I've been a happy Twinings drinker for 3 decades, but I'm Vahdam from here on out! I bought this sampler to try a few of their black teas because Twinings has few loose-leaf teas available in bulk. The Maharaji Breakfast, High Mountain Oolong and Exotic Oolong are stupendous! I ordered the High Mountain and English Breakfast (the Maharaji under a different name, I believe) in bulk the same night. The flavors are subtle and complex, and I like supporting this company. Give them a try5Great tea!Really good tea, nice bold taste, with a smoky notes and fruity undertone. Leaves are pretty big size, no dust or even very small broken pieces. I would recommend this tea to everyone who loves a good cup of black tea (like Assam or mix in English Breakfast, etc). And it's nicely packaged, too, it's in the elegant tin (you can use it for other teas, which don't have such a good packaging) and a foil bag for preserving freshness and aroma. Price is very reasonable for such a high quality.5Weak flavorAfter reading all the reviews on this company and ordering the rose tea - I was dispersed excited for this. Except for the oolong and Assam teas the rest were weak and the green teas and Chai teas were very weak in flavor. I am a tea fanatic.. I have more than I should and love all flavors and styles. These tea bags were the weakest in flavor I have ever had. Barely any taste came through... it was very watered down and weak. Now to be fair I started off with more like 10-12 oz if water in my cup ... however, all other brands, with varying price tags can handle this amount ... even Lipton s can make 2 cups of tea with plenty of flavor.. it felt like I was drinking hot water with a slight essence of flavor. I do not doubt that the ingredients are real. The 2 black teas were very good, mellow and flavorful and I would order those 2 (Assam and Olong). However any with mixed ingredients just either lacked the amount or quality or something.. if your interested in this brand - I am so glad I tried the sampler pack first... I would have been very unhappy otherwise.3Don't buy for the packagingI was disappointed with this box. I bought it to throw in with a gift I got for someone at work (an avid tea drinker). The box it arrived in is cheap, had scuff marks and sticker residue on the top, and overall presentation was terrible. I am opting not to include it in the gift, which is disappointing. Do not trust the reference that suggests it comes in nice packaging.2Very DelightfulA delicious assortment of tea! I was excited to try each and every one for them. So much so I went through the assortment fairly quickly. Each one was filled my cup with amazing aroma. Will get a subscription!5Very Dissatisfied with these teas I received being an avid tea drinker. !!Only enjoyed two of these teas but thought they all would be great . Was very disappointed because I am a tea drinker instead of coffee. I think if you have a sample pack (one of each tea bags). You want feel like you wasted your money if it is a small pack. I ended up giving to my daughter in Atlanta. She liked a few but agreed you would do better making a small sample pack with one of each in a small box. .1Always the BestThis brand has become my absolute favorite tea by far. I got the sampler to help me decide what to order next from them in loose-leaf form. Pyramid bags give the long-leaf plenty of room, and it also shows you what they intend as a measure for one cup. (I tend to use too much tea when making loose-leaf.) The freshness is beyond compare, and it makes such a difference in flavor all natural flavors, BTW, from the actual ingredients (rather than added essences ). Just stunningly good tea every time. The cinnamon/cardamom black tea is my favorite so far, but the Assam and Darjeeling can t be beat.5Very fresh, nice teas.These teas are nice, fresh, and wonderfully fragrant. The tea bags are the nice kind that I would describe as a mesh sachet, not a paper bag. It allows the tea leaves more room to bloom as the tea steeps. I have enjoyed these and will order more from Vahdam.5Great cup of tea!My new tea company! I will be hard pressed to try a different brand. I ordered a sampler pack and also lose silver needle tea and it s been excellent. I love the story behind this brand and will recommend to all my friends5Shockingly tasteless tea!I have NO idea what all the hoopla is about...this tea is tasteless...I love tea, have drunk it all my life...
