Always take it when I feel something coming on...Whenever I start to feel I am coming down with something, I take these. The last few days I have not felt good but was not sick. I ordered these and took them today and I already feel better.When I became ill last year with Flu A, my Doctor told me to take these to help my immune system along with other medication. Ever since then, I swear by it. It is best to take it when you feel something coming on; it seems to knock it out of your systems. This with a lot of water and rest and you will be back of your feet in no time. 5Inedible New Taste - Avoid Avoid AvoidLike others here have stated, the taste of the new formula is inedible. Truly tastes like ashes (or since it's made by Reckitt Benckiser, the people that make Airwick, maybe it has some of that in it).Not sure how this got thru testing at the company. The old ones were very sweet, somewhat too sweet, but I'd prefer those 100x more than these things. Wished I had known the picture trick earlier and I would have returned them (if you receive the ones that have Strawberries only on the bottom picture, send them back unopened. If the one you get has cherries (and tiny raspberry and blueberries next to it), you got the good one!) As it is, went right into the trash. Sent the company an email. No response except the canned thank you. Would recommend everyone write! These are truly terrible.Most of the drugstores only now have the new ones on the shelves. The older ones can be found at some closeout places, like Ollies. Just bought 4 bottles - yeah - and cheaper than here! Shelf life expiration on the ones I store bought have slightly over a year left. 1Surprised that they work and they are way better than dissolving tabletsI used to think these were kind of BS. But when I started to take one a day after feeling a sore throat, it was gone in a week. I ve been taking one a day when people in my office that I meet with regularly are coughing and sneezing; I haven t caught their illness.They are really tart, but it beats the heck out of drinking watered down chalk. 5Disappointed in effectivenessI thought this would be better than taking just vitamin C and I guess actually it is. But a vybad bug just went through and this did not help me in the least. I still wound up in the ER and it was an upper respiratory bug. You would think a vitamin called Airborne would help in that case 3The best product to preventing a cold if you catch it ...The best product to preventing a cold if you catch it right before it becomes one. I work with the public and can't even begin to explain what a life saver this product is. First told to me by my doctor and then proven over and over. You must catch the cold when you start to feel it. Once the cold is full blown it will not help. Once you start to feel the cold emerging start eating a few every two hours. In Berry flavor they are like candy. 5Prefer these chewables to the fizzy tabs, and prefer Airborne over Emergen-CFor whatever reason, Airborne is a much more effective immune supplement for me as compared to Emergen-C. If I take it really regularly - as in the 3x a day that is recommended - it actually helps give me energy and I feel it keeps me from getting sick. Before I started taking this, I was picking up every bug. I haven't been sick at all since starting it regularly (a few months ago, during the peak of the winter bugs). I also traveled internationally and managed to avoid getting sick before, during, and after that trip! I have two complaints though, which is why I haven't given it 5 stars. One is the price. A the current price, it ends up being a quarter shy of two bucks a day to take this at the 3x a day dosage, which is the dose I'm finding effective. If I do that every day during cold season (which, having two little kids, I'm exposed to all sorts of viruses for the better part of the year), it would be fifty bucks a month! My second complaint is all the crap they shove in these little chewables. Artificial sweeteners and food dyes? No thanks.All in all, I really love the effectiveness of the product, I enjoy the flavor, and I find chewables much easier to get down than the fizzy tabs in water. But the price point and the chemicals makes it not quite perfect. I'll probably keep taking them before/during trips and when we have an active illness in the family, just because it is so effective for me, but I can't really justify taking them throughout cold season (which I'd like to). 4tastes good, does the jobI order this vitamin 2-4 boxes at a time, so I don't run out. I am prone to getting a cold every Fall, every Spring ~ annoying, usually aggravates my asthma too. So, as my late Mom always told us, "You can never have enough vitamin C!"So I try to never run out.This one tastes good, dissolves easily & never upsets my stomach, unlike some vitamins I have tried.All in all, a good idea here ~ will keep buying it as long as it is available!! 5Highly recommendThese are VERY tart but kept me from any illness on long international flights with a lot of sick coughing people. 5Awesume immune supportLove this stuff and Amazon has this giant bottle for a good price. I used to keep Echinacea and zinc in my medicine cabinet, but now I just keep these. It has a effective combination of ingredients that really do work in fighting off sickness. You can take up to 3 a day I think, well I do. That means the worse you feel or think you are going to feel the more you can take. One thing to watch out for is that there are some b vitamins that may keep you awake if you take them at night, so I just try take them in the morning or afternoon only. 5Bad batch? Flavor is off on these ones.I have been taking airborne products for 20+ years when they first came out and were only available in a local store and have always felt like they have aided me in staying healthy. I have buying these berry flavored chewables since they introduced them and loved the flavor. This bottle however tastes TERRIBLE! It has the strongest aroma and taste of ginger and I burp it up for hours after eating. It's a shame as I am military overseas and cannot go purchase them from a local store. I'm not sure if the formula has changed in the last year but these tasted nothing like the ones I've been purchasing the last few years. 3
