Delicious and not smashed to bitsLet me just start off by saying I am really impressed with the way these were shipped. Who knew you could ship crisps through the post and not have them smashed to bits. You will get 6 individual serving sized bags that are held in a larger bag. Kind of like the ones you would get from say Costco. They are not big bags and considering the price some people might be upset at the portion size. I on the other hand like smaller portions because I don't eat a lot at one time so for me these are perfect. As for the price I am assuming this is higher because they are coming all the way across the great pond from the UK to get here. They might cost a couple of pounds in the store if purchased in the UK, but since you can't get these flavors here in the States, I am happy to pay the higher price. You are roughly paying about 1.00 per bag of crisps. Just know what you are getting before being surprised and then leaving a bad review because you didn't pay attention to the size of the bags.As for the flavor, WOW. From the first chip to the last it tasted like I was having a roasted chicken, I can't explain it other than it tasted like savory roast chicken skin, you know how the skin gets crisp and has all the seasonings on it. It's like having a bag of that but in potato form. They are not overly greasy and don't leave a weird taste in your mouth like some can. I will definitely be getting more of these to stock up on. I got some other flavors to try as well and if they are just as good as these are, I will be stocking up on those too. If you have never tried these and you like the flavor of chicken, I would give them a try you won't be disappointed. For any vegans or vegetarians, I do not think they are vegan or vegetarian friendly as one of the ingredients is chicken flavoring, which I can only assume they get from maybe a bouillon like base, which comes from chicken stock. If they don't then I am thoroughly impressed with the fact they could come up with other ingredients to resemble chicken this closely. Either way they are an A++ in my book.5Different Flavored ChipsThe package came per the delivery status. I guess I had a different concept in mind regarding the flavor. I was thinking more of the shrimp taste, but these tasted more like the cocktail sauce flavor which we use to eat shrimp cocktail. I was a little disappointed on the flavor front. I would prefer they add more of shrimp flavor then the sauce. In terms of the freshness, the chips were crisp and fresh. However due to the packing which was really cramped, many of the chips were broken in the bag. Overall, I liked them and if you are in the mood of trying a different chips flavor then you should give it try! I would recommend this product and ask the vendor to improve their packaging! Thank you!4Tour-de-CrispsHOLY CRAP THESE ARE GOOD!!! I ordered 5 different flavors so I could do a 'grab bag' at work with my co-workers. I bought the Smokey Bacon, Worcester Sauce, Cheese & Onion, Roasted Chicken, & Pickled Onion. Much to MY surprise - what I thought would be a joke... really shocked all of us. These were amazingly good. The Smoked Bacon seemed to be the office favorite - while it tasted like fake bacon... it tasted like good fake bacon. The Worchester was GREAT - had the perfect worcester sauce flavor punch. The Cheese & Onion was very nice - very mellow well balanced flavor. The Roast Chicken was just 'ok' - I didn't mind it, but I didn't like it enough to buy it again. The Pickled Onion was surprisingly nice - wasn't as tart or oniony as I was expecting. Overall - I'm very happy with having tried these. Nothing compares to Walkers Prawn Cocktail crisps. They sound disgusting to Americans, but they have a sweet and sour taste, and not shrimpy at all. I was very excited to see these on Amazon.They arrived sooner than I expected, and well before their expiry date. They were packed into a small box, so they were a little crushed, but not enough to be a deal breaker. If you want these to be in pristine condition, you'll probably be a bit disappointed, but it didn't bother me.Now I just have to find some pickled onion Monster Munch, and my nostalgic culinary trip will be complete!5Tases like real baconI love these, it's the first bacon flavored thing that I've ever had that actually tastes like bacon instead of some bizarre artificial crap. Not only do these taste like bacon, but perfect delicious smokey bacon. The texture reminds me of Grippo's (from the big box) and I like it allot.Buy them from Tora Foods, that's were I get all my UK grocery items and they are always fresh. (Many crisps were broken, but that's completely understandable with the distance the package traveled) The small bags are roughly the size you see in a vending machine . The crisps were definitely FRESH. Not the least bit stale.I tried my first crisp and wasn't impressed. It didn't seem to have much taste but when I ate another, I began to taste them and really began to like them. I had no further issues with not tasting them. They DID have plenty of flavor. Perhaps that first crisp just didn't have much seasoning, but I had no issues with the rest of the crisps it the bag or the 2nd bag I ate. (Yes, I scarfed down 2 bags in a row! They're small, remember? lol)I'm not sure that I would have guessed the crisps were roast chicken flavor, had I not known when I ate them. I don't mean that as an insult because I DO like these. They ARE flavorful. As I ate them, I thought to myself they would go very well with an Italian sandwich (or hoagie, depending on where you're from) and even a reuben sandwich.I like these crisps . They're a nice change from regular potato chips. They have a good flavor and I thought the price was fair, especially since they're shipped overseas. As I mentioned, many were broken but that' s understandable and expected. I WILL buy these again.4Roast Chicken - My favorite Walker's crispsI first tasted these amazingly good, roast chicken flavored crisps in Ireland years ago and had given up finding them in the U.S. Then I discovered I could order through Amazon and have ordered them periodically since. I've tried all the Walker's flavors, and Roast Chicken is my favorite with Smoky Bacon next. Some chips arrive slightly broken, but that's okay with me because there's plenty of flavor in the smaller bites and that makes the serving seem to last longer. Just enough in each little bag to satisfy my flavor craving. NOTE: the date code on the packages is U.K. date/month/year, not U.S. month/date/year. I thought I'd received close to expiration crisps [5/8/17] dated May 8, when the seller kindly explained the date was August 5.5My new favorite!!I have a snack crate monthly subscription. One of the items in my crate from France was rotisserie chicken chips. I couldn t find them ANYWHERE to order some more. The closest thing I could find were these. These are SO GOOD! They literally taste exactly like the crispy skin on a rotisserie chicken! I will definitely be ordering more soon! I wish these were sold in the U.S. Also I just ordered the marmite to see if I like that. I heard marmite was similar to Vegemite and I loved the Vegemite chips I received in my Australian crate. Which I can t find anywhere either So Those are as good as these are.5Flavoure flavLets just say i wouldn't touch pickled onion flavored anything or even pickled onions for that matter with a 10 foot barge pole but my wife (an expat) LOVES these and to her its a taste of home. These are a quality product and whether you are a fan of flavored chips or flavoured crisps you cant go wrong with a Walkers product. Worth the price and the shipping time. So if you are looking for a new flavor chip to experience or an inexpensive trip to GB, you cant go wrong. If you pack these in your lunch always bring a spare bag to share.5
