Super comfortableOverall, these are great as a foot lift. I wear them almost every day for the past week already and they are surprisingly comfortable. The only issue with these is that they have to match the shoes fitting. On some of my shoes, these felt uncomfortable when I wore them, but they felt very comfortable in my walking shoes which I wear every day. Definitely recommend these if you want a lift for walking shoes. 4Works well with some issuesI have a large discrepancy between my legs. And while these do provide alot of relief, they do not really go down far enough on the foot to provide lift with the insole to fill your arch. So while it does lift the heel, it can lift it to an uncomfortable position where your arch is not touching your insole anymore, depending on the insole and level of heel lift used.This product should be redesigned to allow for this, and then would be a much better product overall. So In general, I would say 2 is the most you should use with this product unless you have very high arch insoles that are very squishy. With 3 it will make your arch basically fully unsupported and it can be extremely painful when walking for a couple miles. 4Serves its purpose but not particularly well designedI have purchased this product before, as I need to wear a lift in one shoe to even out my leg length. I wish these lifts lasted longer--I have to replace them every few months, sometimes more often, even when I am rotating between several different lifts at once. In addition, they are not nearly as adjustable as the advertising suggests. Yes, they are in several layers that can be pulled apart, but there are two major problems with this: 1) pulling apart the layers often causes the rubber sole to tear, creating an uneven surface, and 2) once the soles are pulled apart, they are MUCH less sticky and do not go back together well.I will continue to purchase this product because I need it, but I wish it were better made. 3Purchased from orth doctors adviceI had some severe achilles tendinitis earlier this year in both of my heels. The pain was so bad I thought I had done some damage and went and saw an orthopedic doctor. After examining both of my achilles, he diagnosed me with achilles tendinitis and recommended these heel lifts. They have been fantastic in relieving the pain and preventing it from returning. I initially purchased one set and noticed some repeat inflammation when wearing shoes that didn't have the lifts in them so I purchased two more pairs. The bottom does have to be readjusted after repeated use, but I haven't had a problem lifting it and attaching it back to the main sole. Shoe glue would probably work for a more permanent solution, but I haven't found a need for that since it hasn't lost its stickiness. 5Did not send the item picturedWhat was sent to me was not what was pictured. I ordered these because of the picture and I have had them before. What I got was not the same and they are a suede material and have no writing on them. They are not as nice as the ones that are pictured. They are somewhat floppy on the ends and do not fit my shoe as well and are uncomfortable to walk on. You can feel the lift touching your foot where it shouldn't. I purchased from seller Vesalius Health. A photo is posted on my profile page. 1BEST CHEW TOY EVER. (Apparently.)How should I review this? I have purchased these many, many times. My dogs love them. They are definitely the most fun chew toys we've ever had! I received a new pack in the mail yesterday after they ate my last one out of my shoe, and they climbed up on the piano to get to them.As for me, I find that they work really well to correct my leg length discrepancy and relieve my associated back and nerve pain. My complaint is that as I wear them, the layers begin to shift inside my shoes. This is easily fixed with a bit of dollar store super glue, but it is annoying. 4BEST HEEL LIFTS EVER!!I had a hip replacement and needed a heel lift in my other shoe. My PT suggested these because they are adjustable with layers. I am very happy with them. I plan on ordering more so I have a set for each of my shoes, as each shoe is a little different some trimming maybe needed.Update: I wear 8 womens and have to trim down the med. So now I'm gonna try the small and see if that makes a big difference. 5Perfect product recommended by my physicianThe Adjust A Lift heel lifts were originally prescribed for me at Mayo Clinic. I needed to replace them and was able to locate them on Amazon. These are identical to product I purchased at Mayo Clinic. I love the fact that the layers can be removed allowing one to have the appropriate size advised by one's healthcare provider. I replace them about once as year due to the fact that my specialist recommended doing so.I have used this product since 2014 and reordered from Mayo Clinic in 2015. The heel lifts do not slip and are perfect just as my physician informed me.Without a doubt I will reorder in one year. The price for the package of two is excellent. It allows to me use them in two pairs of shoes. 5Comfortable but Bulky for Women s HeelsThese size medium insoles come in 3 peelable pieces so you can adjust the height to your needs. I had reconstructive hip surgery so I lost almost an inch on my right side, which resulted in nerve pain of my S1 nerve. I read that if I used a lift on the short side, the nerve pain might be remedied, and this was exactly what I needed. I have experienced good pain relief when I can wear this. The piece itself is microfiber to the touch, so it is soft. It is fairly large and even though I wear a size 9 women s shoe, these were still pretty wide inside my shoes near the arch area. I was able to wear them in my flats, my keds, and some of my wedge heels. The insert looked OK once my foot was in the shoe. Unfortunately because the insert is only half the size of the insole there was nothing to stop it from sliding out the back of some of my heels. Some of my heels have no issues with the inserts slipping out the back, and others, I take a few steps and the insoles slides out the back. Maybe if they made the insole slightly longer that might help if I had other parts of my foot holding it in place when I took a step. I wear molded inserts in my tennis shoes to help my high arches when exercising and I m able to add this on top and my foot isn t squished. I had to relace the shoe so the lacing area was wider and looser. Stepping on the insert is firm but not hard.I think this would be a much better product if they had a version made for women s shoes not just small medium large.
