GoodI bought these along with some buffalo bars for quick food when I can't prep it myself. I couldn't stomach the other bars at all. These were a pleasant surprise. I like how they are pressed flatter to make them easier to chew. They have a pleasant flavor and there's nothing weird in them.My only caveat is that the box touts the lamb and spinach but unless you read the ingredients it's a surprise that they sweet as they contain both dates and apricots. Personally, I'd buy a lot more with either one fruit (preferably apricots) or the other; or in a perfect world, neither.So how about it, Wild Zora, will you make some just for me?4Very small portion sizesTaste great, but kind of expensive for the serving size. I was very shocked when I opened up the package and saw how small it was. This product appears to be of great substance value, tasted great, I got the Lamb, but it was a little highly priced in regards to several other healthy snacks i was trying to incorporate in my daily routine. But most of all, i was surprised how small the portion sizes were in each package. I kind of felt like i was part of a joke. It's kind of like when you go to an expensive restaurant and pay a heft price for the highly rated food, and when they bring it out, its 3 bites of steak and a couple bites of sides, so you hit the drive-thru on your way home3Great flavor, and ingredientsI have tried a number of different Jerky companies, looking for both healthy and delicious. One may be out there, put I haven't found it. Than by accident, I came across an article about Wild Zora Foods, and decided give them a try. I purchased the Mediterranean Lamb, and I am very pleased. They are delicious, which is reflected in the high quality ingredients. If I were to change anything, it would be to reduce the sweetness, a little bit. Possibly offer a separate flavor, which has less fruit, while not adding additional sodium. The Wild Zora bars, have very low sodium, which is important to me, and difficult to find, in most foods of this type. I highly recommend these, and belief they are worth the cost, for the high quality product you receive.5Finally an AIP compliant snack.As someone who's essentially been on the AIP diet for the past four months, I've been in a lot of situations where I need just a small but substantial AIP-compliant snack to tide me over from one meal to the next (most often at the end of a work day, before driving home to dinner). Despite what everyone says about Epic Bison Bars, I don't like them because they just a little too meaty for my taste. I bought one once and really had to choke it down because the meat smell and taste made me want to gag.Wild Zora's Mediterranean Bars are DELICIOUS. The meat is really just a vehicle for all the other delicious things they've got in there - the lamb flavor isn't overwhelming at all. With two bars per pouch, ten pouches per box, it's a steal. I'm so grateful for anything AIP-compliant, but I'm especially grateful for these because they're delicious. I can't believe anyone would complain about the price given how rare it is to find anything that's this healthy and tasty.I'll be buying more and I recommend them to anyone on the AIP (or really anyone who wants a healthy meat bar). They're so good and work wonderfully if you need something to get you between meals.5Great taste! Occasional bone fragments.I tried the Mediterranean Lamb & Veggie bars fully expecting not to like them. I get the idea of jerky, but the idea of meat bars just sounded a little... ick? However, these are wonderful! I have reordered several times, despite them being so expensive and despite biting into bone fragments twice out of the first two batches we received. The bone chip issue is why I gave these 4 stars instead of 5. I nearly chipped a tooth the last time. However, I reordered these again since they are so good and are a better choice for me than a typical protein bar.4Good, But Was Hoping For Better.....I am always looking for healthy paleo meat snacks (not that I eat perfectly paleo, lol). These are o.k. - very good ingredients, well-made, etc. I just was not super-crazy about the taste, which I felt was over-powering. Also, the bars were a bit dry (which is a common issue with dehydrated meat snacks), and for the amount I got, I felt that I should be paying about 20-30% less. Also the quality control was a bit inconsistent, as one of the 2-bar packets contained 1 bar instead of 2.I see that the company may have unveiled some new flavors since I ordered these. I may consider trying one of the new flavors, but only if I can get a coupon or find them cheaper elsewhere. On the plus side, these are much better than the meat bars from Epic - but not nearly as good as the Tanka bars (which are made from Buffalo).3Good, Worth the price.As others have said, yes this is expensive. I am actually a sheep farmer myself- so I do know something about lamb. I have tried it in every form throughout the world, including in Iceland and China. I look for lamb on the menu. I try to support the sheep industry, so when I wanted a protein snack, and my choices were beef or lamb, I chose this product, though it was more expensive. Aside from price, this product meets the requirements: 1) not refrigerated, 2) convenient, 3) tasty. As far as size and taste, it was packaged well, I would say each package has the contents of maybe half a lambburger. If you are voraciously hungry, find something else. Definitely tasty. As to price, you get what you pay for. Wholesome ingredients, packaged for ultimate convenience cost more money. If you are looking for "maximum amount of protein I can get for a dollar" buy some Slim Jims (rejected beef parts, chemicals, etc). Or for a healthier option, just eat some mixed nuts. I will update the review if I buy again, I'm just getting started, my initial impression is favorable.5Pricey but Fantastic!Ridiculously delicious. In fact, so good you probably don t deserve it.These little babies just melt in your mouth, with rich yet delicate flavor. They are not super chewy bars that require great time to consume. In fact I find myself deliberately slowing my mouth to allow enjoy the rush of sensations.These bars are made up of ground lamb mixed with ground fruit. The fruit carries enough moisture that these bars do not give you dry-mouth, as so many other protein bars do.Okay, the bars are small. Inside your somewhat oversized package you will normally find two small (tiny?) bars. So realistically at about three dollars for a package containing two small/tiny bars, these are not value priced. I couldn t afford to eat them daily. But for a delicious and healthy snack when meetings run long, they are great to keep stashed in a purse or briefcase.5love these!These are pretty frickin amazing i was expecting a hard granola bar like snack but when i opened them they are two strips that have a soft jerky nugget texture...that are delicious ^_^ so pleasantly surprised by the taste and how satisfying they are for the size .these are an awesome grab and go or emergency aip snack .im for sure going to stock up!!appreciate it wild zora thank you5So good I subscribed monthly!These are delicious and moist, not dry like jerky. Pretty easy to chew. Makes a great to go snack with good protein. They are a little small though.5
