This blend is good enough to get me through until my next trip ...I use this in a drip coffee maker. It has a bold, delicious flavor. I purchased this same company's more expensive brew while in Puerto Rico. This blend is good enough to get me through until my next trip to PR. I will purchase again. It's good enough to be a unique gift for the coffee lover in your life.5WARNINGThis ruined me for all other coffee. Do not buy unless you want to become a coffee snob and develop a distaste for all other coffees.5Very disappointed customerVery disappointed with this purchase! I have been drinking Yaucono coffee all my life, so I was very surprised when I first open the package and there was no fresh coffee aroma, (found that odd) but I went ahead and brewed the coffee and still no aroma.I tried it out and it tasted like water.I have always been very satisfied with all my purchases at Amazon, this is the first time I felt I had to write a review.1The Only REAL CoffeeThis is the only coffee I'll purchase. While living in Puerto Rico, my boyfriend introduced me to Yaucono and there was no turning back. Now back in the States, it's impossible to find. Amazon is to date the only place aside from eBay where I've been able to purchase it, but Prime's pricing can't be beat. Brew this in a moka pot for the best flavor and body.5Wonderful Coffee!The only fault this coffee has is that it ruins your appreciation of other kinds. I discovered it during a trip to Puerto Rico, where my Puerto Rican colleagues joked that they were providing this so we would get more work done. It is strong stuff and has more caffeine than what you get in mainland USA. The flavor is smazing!5Purchased two-pack. Neither bag had a vacuum sealBOTH bags in a two pack arrived with no vacuum seal, and one of the bags had some type of glue across the vacuum seal area that is "goo-ier," and far less sticky than I've seen on any packaging in decades. The latter bag was partly glued, but not entirely, so no vacuum seal on that bag either. There was a "freshness seal" tape secured firmly at the center top of each bag, but when untaped, no seal across the top of the package. Needless to say, the coffee was stale, which is the least of my concerns. This is fantastic coffee when fresh, but can't give unsafe packaging the five-star review the product itself would have received if sealed like the first bag I had, which was purchased in Puerto Rico. Currently, shipping times for any item are impossibly long due to the pandemic, so I guess I'll just toss it rather than add to an already burdened shipping system.1I fell in love with it immediatelyI first tried this coffee on a vacation to PR. The hotel where I stayed served it. I fell in love with it immediately. Low acid, incredibly smooth. I couldn't find it anywhere on the mainland and began ordering it on Amazon. I was very happy with it and bought it regularly for three years. It was the only coffee I kept in the house. The last two orders the coffee brewed cloudy and had odd floating "something" at the bottom of the pot. It was kind of murky. Not every bag but several in each order. I've stopped ordering because of this. It's a shame because other than the past two orders I was very happy with the coffee. Not sure what was going on but too expensive to keep getting poor quality.3SMOOTH COFFEE!This is a smooth and less acidic coffee than most. It has zero bitterness and if you put your coffee maker on STRONG BREW - you just get a more pronounced flavor - still no acid or bitterness. We received some as a gift and after it was gone I found it here on AMAZON. Price was inline with what you pay for other coffees and it tastes great. Highly recommended.5Excellent, smooth coffeeWe were first introduced to Yaucono a few years ago in Puerto Rico and both my husband and I liked it. I ordered it once after we returned home, but then went back to our same old, same old sludge. I surprised my husband with a new coffee maker last week and decided to buy Yaucono again to remind him there is better coffee out there than what he has used for 45 years. We are enjoying our first cup this morning. It really is full bodied, yet smooth and no bitterness. I highly recommend this coffee.5Love this coffeeReally enjoyed this coffee since a trip to Puerto Rico in winter 2017. Second order that I made of this coffee. Great smooth flavor, not bitter at all. A little pricey, only $4.80 on the island of Puerto Rico, but considering the logistics, I think what I paid was fair.5
