Good PurchaseThanks to the previous reviews I was prepared for an awful flavor. Fortunately, it wasn't half-bad. I almost find it pleasant (almost). It's quite thick, which is great. I feel like it has a good throat-coat to it.Seems effective. I take it at the first sign of a tickle.5Best Cold Remedy!!!Amazing Product! I got this for my husband cause he had a cold he couldnt get rid off. He took the first 2 teaspoons and over night he immediately felt better and his immunesystem was boosted. Thank you ZHU5Elderberry Syrup!Got it today opened it and after shaking it well I took a teaspoon, it tasted terrible.So finally I m reading the bottle it is just made from concentrate, I had a bottle that tastet so good and was made from real Elderberry and you could use a teaspoon whenever needed nothing about only three times a day.Be careful and don t buy it, it s a waste of money. I m not able to tolerate apple cider vinegar on its own, so this is a good alternative for me. Make sure to shake the bottle well before pouring. I ve recommended this to a few people based on the ingredients. I hope this becomes available again soon.Update - After attending a birthday party with lots of school aged kids, I came down with a cold. Nasty non stop runny nose, headache, fatigue and sneezing. I never developed a cough while taking this. I was taking one dose of this a day but upped it to 3 doses the first 2 days I started to feel ill. Today is day 5, and I'm back to normal. I've never recovered from a cold so quickly. Highly recommend.5Better than cough syrup!I've been using this product almost 2 weeks now. I wanted to make sure I gave this product an honest review, as I normally do. I already take the gummies, but must say, the syrup, I felt a big difference. I had started to get a cold, got this product on the 3rd day of my illness. I felt better 2 days later. No more sore throat or sniffly nose. The taste is not as strong as I expected it to be. My husband even tried it and said he thought the taste of acv would be stronger in it. The consistency is good. It's not too thick. The price is very fair for the product as well. My only concern was the packaging. The product was in bubble wrap, however, the cap was busted and just barely hanging on it. It doesn't pose a direct issue, and it seems to be a pretty spill proof design.As always, I love this Zhou product and will keep it on deck.5Good to have for flu season! Shake the bottle!!I got this to take as an immune booster during the winter. I take about a tablespoon each morning. I have been waking up congested and with a sore throat each morning, not sure if I am fighting something or if it's allergies but after I take this the symptoms improve. The consistency is thick and the taste is much better than I expected. I think some of the reviews of people who are saying it has a terrible taste are not shaking it first. You have to shake it REALLY well or else it does taste very vinegary. I forgot to shake it first once and was quite shocked by the difference. So shake it first!!5I think it works but it doesn t taste very good!I am a big time advocate for Zhou products. I use several of their supplements on a daily basis and am always game for trying new products of theirs! After trying the Elderberry gummies and loving them I of course said yes to testing the syrup. The gummies are really easy to take; like candy probably due to the sweetener they put in them which I try to avoid a lot of extra sugar in my diet so I was hoping to love the syrup.Unfortunately the syrup was much harder to stomach. I have to take it like a shot of strong liquor to get it down. I however do think it does it s job! I have not gotten sick at all. I tend to have a stronger immune system in general but I ve been exposed to a lot of virus lately and I haven t caught one. So is it worth it?! I leave that up to you! If you don t mind taste for benefits definitely give it a shot, but Zhou has a little ways to go on the taste of this to get me to continue using it. I may just switch back to the gummies.4Very vinegaryThe ingredients look legit, but the vinegar taste is too strong for me. If you are used to taking apple cider vinegar, this would probably be great for you.2Highly satisfied!First off, I love the glass bottle! The only little problem I had with that was that I cracked the cap somehow! I m not sure how it happened but over tightening had to be the reason. Maybe a metal cap would be a better option? I enjoy the syrup itself honestly. I m not a huge fan of Apple cider vinegar, so that is a little hard for me when I take the syrup. Could the amount of the ACV be toned down possibly? That s truly the only flaw I can see with it and that is my personal opinion. Others may love it! Overall, I think it s a great product and the price point is perfect based on the history of quality in your products. I love Zhou and I always will. You guys have given me so much over the past year. I could not be more thankful! I hope to see the company grow larger and larger! I will be right by your side to see it happen.5Helpful for flu season, terrible taste and smell.Got this to try and reduce my Husband's death like flu symptoms... he is our sole provider and we need to keep that man in tip top shape. We are really trying to look into more natural and healthy alternatives before heading to the over the counter medicine.PROS**- I feel like this helped reduce the length of his cold. Definitely not a cure all but I think it truly helped to reduce the length, although there was a day he was severely not well feeling and stayed home- I love the glass bottle and design- Labels are easy to read- No filler ingredients- 3 tsp max a day (3 servings)(1 serving every 2 hours) and 48 servings a bottle. I feel it's decent value for the money.**CONS- Holy crap does this taste and smell terrible. Seriously buy something to mix this with or have a chaser near by.
